Nude Nail Obsessed

If there is one colour that I always gravitate towards is the nude. I find that it’s a colour that goes well with my skin tone and it’s a colour that isn’t all out there but gives an element of class if I could say that. There are of course various shades of nude, some going from a palish white to a natural nail colour. Here are my favourite nude nail polishes that yes, some may look almost the same shade but are defiantly different.

  • O.P.I Hearts & Tarts– Out of all the polishes on this list, this has to be the sheerest of them all. This polish, when applied does colour correct your nail and has a slight shimmer to it. It’s the perfect shade for when you want to show some natural nail but you want them looking healthy.
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Birthday Suit – Even though this title is not really great, the shade is beautiful none the less. It’s a light cream colour, that’s almost whitish. As with any light polish, it isn’t opaque in one stroke. You’ll need at least 2-3 coats for this polish to be opaque.
  • Rimmel London Soul Sessions – This colour matches more of my actual skin tone, making it the perfect nude polish for me but if you have a darker skin tone, this is a lovely light brownish colour with a great formula. This colour is fully opaque in 2 coats.
  • Essie Mademoiselle – Now these next 3 shades maybe look the same but they are far from it. This shade, Mademoiselle, is almost like O.P.I’s Hearts & Tarts but a bit more opaque. Again, as with any light colour, this will be fully opaque with 3-4 thin coats.
  • Essie Ballet Slippers – Almost the same shade as Mademoiselle but more on the pink side. To get it opaque, you’ll need 3-4 thin coats.
  • Essie Limo-Scene – This shade is no stranger to my blog. This is a soft, creamy white. It’s slightly more opaque than the other 2 Essie polishes and to get it fully opaque, you’ll need 2-3 thin coats.

These are my favourite nude/light shades of nail polishes. What are your favourites?
