Nail Polish Haul
I have to admit, I have a problem when it comes to nail polishes. Over the past month or two, I’ve bought a few nail polishes. Every time I walk into a drug store or browsing online stores, I always find myself looking at nail polishes. These are the ones that I’ve bought recently.
- Revlon Parfumerie: Lavender Soap – I mentioned this in my July Favourites. The colour of this is absolutely stunning. Its sorts of a silvery lavender colour. The brush isn’t thick but it isn’t bad applying the polish. Recommend amounts of coats is about 2 coats and the polish lasts about 6 days without any chips.
- Rimmel London: Mind The Gap, Victoria – When I saw this polish, I just had to get it. The blue is absolutely stunning. As always, Rimmel’s polishes never fail in the brush department. The brush is thick, making it super easy to apply. Recommend amount of coats for this is 2 coats and it lasted about 5 days without any chips.
- Topshop: Profound – Topshop was having a sale so I picked up two nail polishes. The first one I picked up is a lilac colour. The brush size is a nice sized brush. It isn’t thin but it isn’t really thick either which is ok and it’s still easy to apply the polish. The recommend amount of coats for this is 2 coats and the polish lasts about 4-5 days without any chips.
- Essie: Tangerine – I got this one online and it’ a lovely red/orange colour. The brush for this isn’t thick but the formula of the polish is great, it isn’t sheer or anything like that. The colour is kind of smiler to Rimmel’s Salon Pro in Hip Hop, just slightly more red. Recommend amount of coats for this polish is 2 coats and it lasted about 5 days without any chips.
- Topshop: Sweet As Can Be – This is the other polish I bought at the Topshop sale. This polish is a lovely pastel orange. The brush is the same size as the other Topshop polish. The recommend amount of coats for this is 2 coats and the polish lasts about 4-5 days without any chips.
- Rimmel London: Orange Your Life – I saw this polish on sale so I decided to get it. This polish doesn’t exactly have the greatest formula as it’s a bit sheer unless I got a bad batch. I suppose it’s one of their older polishes but I could still make it work as I do love the colour. Recommend amount of coats is 3-4 coats and the polish lasts about 4 days.
The base and top coat I like to use with these is the Rimmel London’s Nail Nurse Base & Top Coat which is also what I used in the swatches above.
Have you tried any of these polishes? What are some of your all time favourite nail polishes?
