May Beauty Favourites 2014
Another month has gone by and there’s been quite a few beauty/skincare products that I have been finding myself going for almost everyday. These are just beauty and skincare products that are being mentioned in this post but I’ll also have another post with my non-beauty favourites but lets get into with this post shall we.
- The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil – I am so glad that I got this because when it comes to removing make-up, I’m not patient person. This really removes my make-up and fast and really well. I smear it on to my dry face which has the make-up, then I rinse it with water and I’m good to go. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and it smells really nice. It also doesn’t irritate my skin as I do have sensitive skin.
- The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser – I actually haven’t seen many pore minimiser here in South Africa (or maybe I haven’t looked harder enough) but I’d heard about this one by The Body Shop so I checked it out. Since I do have quite big pores showing on my nose and around, this has really helped minimise the pores as well as help with the oiliness around my nose and forehead.
- RegimA Anti-Acne Cream – This little cream has really helped with my breakouts that I’ve been getting, especially around that time of the month. I apply a small amount on the pimple and in a day or two, the pimple is gone without leaving any marks. I believe this is a South African product but I think you can get it in some countries in Europe.
- Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation – This foundation is probably the only foundation I’ll be using for a while as it’s one that keeps into my budget which is good as this foundation is pretty good for a drug store foundation. It offers great coverage around blemished and reddish skin.
- Revlon Matte Lip Balm – I don’t know why I never used these products as they’ve been on the market for so long but better late than never. They have such gorgeous colours to choose from so I just went with a nice light shaded pink. It feels great on the lips, it’s also pretty moisturising and of course, easy to apply and it smells pretty good as well. I can’t wait to try some orange and red colours.
- Rimmel London Salon Pro with LYCRA – I mentioned these nail polishes in a previous post last month. This month I’ve been using the colour Hip-Hop a lot. It’s actually my favourite colour from the collection and this colour goes well for the autumn at the moment.
- Maybelline Baby Lips – I had heard a lot of good things about these so I decided to give them a shot. They had options of coloured lip balms but I opted for the clear one which also provides SPF on the lips. These leave my lips so moisturised and soft.
